The general manager of YC Synergy, Mark Huang, giving a speech about the "motive fuel cell module solution" on "Wu Han" forum in China at 15th of Sep, 2017. He described how to create YC Synergy by his own and from hydrogen production until the whole fuel cell module developing process, 4 generations totally.

In the morning on July 30. When the toastmast visits YC Synergy , we answer them that we have "3 spots" in our product, "high power output, high volumn-energy density and high weight-energy density. The entire weight is 130 kilogram including air compressor and all of the components of balance of plant, 15KW of power output. Currently, most of our competitor who can provide the stationery fuel cell or small power output fuel cell system. Just YC Synergy, who can supply such a mature sytem to meet your demand on big vehicle fields in Taiwan.  But, we don't feel it's enough. "More lighter, more thinner, more shorter and more smaller" is our research and development goal. Non-stop to make progress on our product which is the spirit of our company.

We'll launch the fourth generation of fuel cell system in Sep., 2016 to make "three Big fields" got power enough, "Big Bus"," Big Truck" and "Big Boat". YC Synergy refused the diesel engine and generator to destroy our circumstance continuously.

For responsing the energy saving and carbon emission cutting in the international treaty in  Paris ,2015. YC Synergy company provide the unique motive "fuel cell " solution for middle & big vehicles. We provide the goverment and civilian to visit this yacht after  launched this catamaran,"star of hope"  . This catamaran was spending 1 year to accomplish it, serviced in the "Sun-Moon-Lake" in the end of 2014 which is the first one to pass the boat rule of motive fuel cell boat in Asia. "Star of Hope" can drive 91 people at most, 17 meters length, the maximum speed is up to 11 knots. There're more than one and a half year running in this lake, it can make us know the stability and safety which are manifest.                                     

The very first fuel cell boat passes all safety examination from Class society. Star of Hope started it's service in Dec. 10, 2014 after the thorough inspection and unveiled the commercialization of fuel cell boat!

Equipped with YC Synergy’ Fuel Cell technology, Star of Hope completed the cruising test. The test is to test the ferry’s cruising range at 6 knots speed and  which is required by the local authority!

In Nov. 19, 2014, YC Synergy has passed the reliability test for electric vehicle environment, ISO standards. The test was conducted by ARTC, the authority for vehicle safety and performance inspection in Taiwan. The test includes the shock, vibration and thermal impact.

In Nov, 18, 2014, DOE visited Star of Hope and Naruwa for evaluating and inspecting the performance of YC Synergy’s fuel cell system. Both systems pass the test and start their daily service.

This fuel cell ferry named Star of Hope was designed and manufactured in response to the rise of environment protection awareness and the elevation of passengers’ comfort requirement. Star of Hope emits no green house gas, and also removes fossil fuel odor by adopting the cutting-edge design of fuel cell and battery hybrid-power solution.

On November 15th, 2014, a 17-meter long fuel cell passenger ferry began her first daily service in Sun Moon Lake, the world-wide famous National Scenic Area in central Taiwan. Each year more than 6 millions of tourists visit Sun Moon Lake to sightsee this beautiful landscape.

Currently the ferry in Sun Moon Lake is powered by diesel engine. In order to improve the tourism quality and reduce the pollution, Tourism Bureau in Taiwan launched a series of program to replace the diesel boats to zero emission boats in Sun Moon Lake area. Naruwa is the first boat in that area to switch to fuel cell solution from diesel engine. Naruwa is launched in Nov. 14, 2014 and is considered a landmark for a big progress of green transportation and tourism in Taiwan.

YC Synergy if funded by Industrial Development Bureau in Taiwan to work with partnered boat builders for the development of Fuel Cell boat.
